Extron UTS 100 (part number 70-1028-01) — the primary shelf of the UTS 100 Series under-table shelf system, 1U half rack width, in gray.

Where a room has no space for a conventional rack, the UTS 100 mounts a shelf straight to the underside of the table and does away with rails altogether. It will take any workable combination of half-, quarter- and eighth-rack width products, with mounting holes drilled at the 3-inch, 6-inch and 9.5-inch depth positions so devices of different footprints share the same tray. Three rows of wire-tie openings run through the shelf for dressing cable properly rather than letting it hang. Because it is self-supporting, it can sit beside a table leg, in the middle of the span, or right at the edge within reach of whoever is using the room. Additional UTS 150 secondary shelves hook and post onto the UTS 100 when more capacity is needed; the system is rated to 20 lbs (9.1 kg) all in.
