Two pairs in one jacket is what separates the STP22-2 from its single-pair sibling, and it is the reason integrators specify it: a bidirectional control link and a balanced audio feed, or a stereo pair, can share one pull instead of two. Four 22 AWG tinned copper conductors are grouped as two twisted pairs and color coded red/black and green/white so they stay identifiable at both terminations.
