Not every plenum run justifies a 1,000 ft reel. This is the short-length option in the Extron STP20-2 family: the same construction as the full spool, cut to 50 ft so a single ceiling drop or rack-to-rack jumper does not tie up bulk stock. Four 20 AWG tinned copper conductors form two color-coded twisted pairs, red/black and green/white, with one tinned copper drain wire under an aluminum foil shield. Foamed FEP insulation, PVC inner jackets and a blue fire-resistant PVC outer jacket give it the NEC CMP listing needed above a return-air ceiling.
