Extron Retractor SM HDMI (part number 70-1065-46) — a variable-speed cable retraction module with a pre-loaded HDMI Show Me cable, built for collaboration tables that get used all day.

The module lives below the work surface inside a cable access enclosure and presents one thing to the user: a cable and a lit button. Pull the cable out to any length up to three feet and it holds there; press the Share button and the switcher selects that input, with the button staying lit as confirmation; press the release and the cable draws back in. The cable is continuous and pre-installed, so extension length has no effect on performance, and Extron tests the mechanism to more than 5,000 cycles. A six-foot pigtail on the system end reaches under-table electronics or a floor box without a joint.
