Extron One USB 2.0 Type-A Female to USB Type-B Female Adapter (part number 70-383-11) — the black single-space MAAP barrel that puts a USB junction on the face of a plate instead of leaving it loose behind one.

The module is a passive barrel: a USB Type-A female opening on one side, a USB Type-B female opening on the other, carried on a mountable metal MAAP plate. Extron describes the barrel as reversible, so the integrator decides at install time which connector shows at the front of the plate and which faces into the enclosure. That single choice is what makes it useful — the same part number serves a table box that needs to present a host port and a rack plate that needs to present a device port.

Where It Is Used
