What separates this from a generic VGA lead is bulk. Extron uses an extremely thin cable with low-profile moulded connectors, which is why the assembly is certified to live inside AVEdge, Cable Cubby and HSA surface access enclosures where a standard VGA hood simply will not close the lid.
