Extron MLC Plus 84 D (part number 60-1194-03) — a two-gang MediaLink Plus wall controller supplied with a white decorator-style wallplate.
Where a room needs dependable, repeatable AV control rather than a touchpanel, this unit puts eleven backlit soft-touch buttons on the wall and reaches connected equipment across the building network. Display power, source selection and level changes travel as Ethernet commands, while two bidirectional RS-232 ports, two normally open relays, an IR port and a digital input take care of projectors, screens, amplifiers and other gear that never joined the network. One Cat cable carrying 802.3af Class 3 PoE can deliver both power and control.
