Details
Extron MLC Plus 50 (part number 60-1468-03) — a compact MediaLink Plus wall controller that hands a room's display, source and level commands to six labelled backlit buttons.
Not every space justifies a touchpanel. Where an operator only has to power a projector, pick between a couple of sources and set the level, the MLC Plus 50 covers it from a single 2-gang opening. Behind a magnetically attached, screwless faceplate sit an IP Link Pro engine, one bidirectional RS-232 port, two normally open relays, an IR output wired for as many as two emitters, and one digital input. A single Cat cable to the RJ-45 jack carries both the control network and 802.3af Class 3 PoE, so no local outlet is needed. Global Configurator Plus drives up to four Ethernet-controlled devices; Global Configurator Professional raises that ceiling to eight.

Where It Is Used
