Extron MBD 129 (part number 70-077-02) — a through-desk mount kit for Extron's 1U, quarter- or half-rack width, two-piece enclosure products.
Rather than housing the device in a rack, the MBD 129 lets an installer cut an opening in a table, lectern, or desk and drop a compatible two-piece Extron enclosure through it, with the bracket securing the unit's top and bottom halves in place from underneath. It's built for Extron's two-piece chassis products -- universal interfaces, switchers, distribution amplifiers, and twisted pair products such as the RGB 109xi, RGB 112xi, RGB 160xi, and RGB 164xi -- where the enclosure splits apart to fit the bracket around it during installation.
