Out of the box a WC Pro controller handles one display in a simple room. This licence lifts that ceiling. Once applied, the unit can be configured in Global Configurator Plus or Global Configurator Professional, or programmed outright with ControlScript, which means a single project can drive several displays and devices instead of one. It also opens the controller up to TouchLink Pro touchpanels, Network Button Panels and Secure Platform Devices, so a room can gain a proper user interface without a separate control processor being specified and installed.

Because it is delivered as a licence rather than hardware, the upgrade can be bought at the time of the original order or years later, when the room's requirements outgrow the original design. Licences are activated per system and need no central management.
