Publishing a finished recording to Kaltura works on an SMP out of the box. What this license adds is the other direction: the processor can pull recording schedules from Kaltura and push live media to it over RTMP and RTMPS, which turns an ad-hoc capture appliance into a scheduled one. On the SMP 351 the license also covers the Kaltura Live Dashboard and publishing of virtual input recordings, and the Kaltura FlexOS App at v1.04 lets a dual-channel unit nominate its primary channel.
