Extron KNX 100G (part number 60-1796-01) — a DIN rail gateway that puts a KNX building network within reach of an Extron control system.

Rooms that already run lighting, blinds and temperature on KNX usually keep that world separate from the AV control system. The KNX 100G closes that gap: it sits on the KNX twisted-pair bus at one end and the LAN at the other, so an Extron control processor or touchpanel can issue and receive KNX telegrams. It is also the interface ETS uses for commissioning, since the bus becomes reachable from any point on the network rather than only from a physical bus tap.

Conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms and lecture halls that share a building management backbone are the natural fit. Because the gateway is DIN rail mounted and bus powered, it lives in the electrical panel alongside KNX actuators rather than consuming rack space, letting a single touchpanel drive lighting, shades, dimming and thermostat groups.
