The HDMI Ultra Series is built around an Extron 28 AWG conductor set that is noticeably thinner and more pliable than ordinary HDMI cable, wrapped in a 0.22 in (5.7 mm) jacket and finished with compact gold-plated type A plugs. Because the assembly turns inside a 0.80 in (20.3 mm) radius, a one-foot piece can loop between stacked rack gear or between a display and a mount plate without the connector being levered sideways. Electrically it still meets Premium High Speed requirements, so nothing is traded away for the small size.
