The Show Me cable is the part of an Extron collaboration system a presenter actually touches. Pull it from the table enclosure, plug it into a laptop, then press the illuminated button on the connector shell. The attached switcher selects that input and the button stays lit, so the room can see which seat is driving the display. Control and tally ride back to the switcher on a separate three-conductor pigtail, so no extra wiring is required at the table.

Where It Is Used
