Three hundred feet (91.4 m) is well beyond anything a passive HDMI cable can attempt at 4K. The hybrid design makes it routine: multimode optical fiber transports the color channels, tinned 28 AWG copper handles control, and the electronics live inside standard HDMI type A connector shells measuring 2.40 in long by 0.84 in wide and 0.49 in thick. Despite the distance, the cable is still only 0.16 in (4 mm) thick and needs no more than a 0.79 in (20 mm) bend radius.
