At 250 ft (76.2 m) this is one of the two longest members of the HD Pro Plenum Series. Video travels as light on multimode fiber, so distance does not erode the signal the way it does on passive copper, and the tinned 28 AWG copper conductors keep EDID, HDCP and CEC working normally at the far end. The PVC jacket carries a UL-CMP listing, so the cable can occupy a return-air ceiling where CMP is mandated by code.
