Extron FOX3 SR 301 PC MM (part number 70-1190-23) is an uncompressed fiber optic scaling receiver built as a slot-in module for the Extron PowerCage 411 enclosure, rather than a standalone chassis. It shares its scaling, video, and audio behavior with the standalone FOX3 SR 301, using a full USB 2.0 host plus 2-port USB HID hub for peripheral extension.

Installed in one of the four module slots of a PowerCage 411, the SR 301 PC receives power, cooling, and rack space from the shared enclosure rather than an individual supply or fan -- power draw is 24.9 watts per module. Its built-in scaler outputs fixed resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling over a single HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.3-compliant output, or runs in bypass mode to pass the source resolution unchanged. Audio de-embeds from HDMI to a 2-channel PCM digital output, and a bidirectional RS-232 pass-through port extends serial control to the display or other AV device at the far end. This uncompressed variant uses 2 SFPs (uncompressed 4K/60 over two fibers), giving a maximum channel data rate of 20.0 Gbps (2 fibers), over multimode fiber.
