Extron FOX3 SR 211 MM (part number 60-2090-21) — the multimode member of Extron's FOX3 fiber optic scaling receiver line, built to land 4K/60 4:4:4 DisplayPort on a display at the far end of a fiber run.

This receiver terminates a FOX3 fiber link and hands off scaled DisplayPort video together with stereo audio, RS-232, IR and 3D sync. Because the optical path carries mathematically lossless imagery rather than a compressed proxy, what arrives at the display matches what left the source. An onboard Vector 4K scaling engine then re-rates the picture to whatever the connected display prefers, so a mismatched projector or panel no longer forces a compromise upstream. FILL and FOLLOW modes decide how aspect ratio is handled at the output.
