Extron FOX3 Matrix 40x IPCP Pro (part number 60-1576-12) — 4U modular fiber optic matrix frame with an Extron control processor built in.

Five board slots, each holding a FOX3 I/O 88 board with eight LC fiber ports, take this switcher from 8x8 to 40x40. Boards are hot-swappable, so capacity can be added to a live system, and multimode and singlemode boards can share the same chassis - useful when a short in-building link has to hand off to a long singlemode run. Video, audio, USB, RS-232 and 3D sync all share the same fiber pairs, which removes the need for separate USB extenders or extra network drops.
