Details
Extron FOX T USW 203 MM (part number 60-1230-11) — three-input switcher with a local HDMI output and a built-in multimode fiber optic transmitter.
One box does the job of three. It takes two HDMI sources and one analog RGB source, switches between them, mirrors the selection to a local HDMI display, and simultaneously drives the chosen signal down a pair of LC multimode fibers at 4.25 Gbps. Analog inputs are digitised inside the unit, stereo audio arriving on a 3.5 mm jack is embedded into the optical stream, and an RS-232 pass-through rides along with it. EDID Minder handles source handshaking and Key Minder keeps HDCP authenticated so switching stays quick.
