Details
Extron FOX Matrix 3200 (part number 60-1257-01) — a four-slot, card-based fiber optic matrix switcher frame that scales from 8x8 to 32x32.
Ampronix supplies the FOX Matrix 3200 frame for facilities that move audiovisual and control traffic across a fiber backbone rather than copper. Each of its four board slots accepts an eight-port FOX I/O 88 card, so a site can begin with a single card and grow to 32 ports in each direction without replacing the enclosure. Multimode and singlemode cards may share the same frame, which lets one chassis serve short in-building runs and multi-kilometre campus links simultaneously. Boards, fan and both power supplies can be exchanged while the switcher keeps running.
