A Cable Cubby set into a conference table often has to draw power from a permanent circuit rather than a receptacle, either because the local code says so or because the table is fixed millwork. This kit makes that legal and tidy. The original IEC plug and cable come out, the conduit adapter plate goes in, and the electrician terminates into a distribution box through 1/2 inch flexible conduit or 3/8 inch liquid tight conduit. UL 2043 heat and smoke release conformance covers the assembly for use in enclosed spaces that carry building airflow.
