Where an MLC Plus controller, a DTP transmitter plate or a similar active two-gang device has to be surface mounted, the EWB 112 is the enclosure Extron built for it. The moulded thermoplastic shell measures 4.67 by 4.77 inches on the wall and holds 2.24 inches (57 mm) of usable internal depth, which matters when the module behind the plate has real volume rather than just connectors. Four raceway openings, one per side, let cable be routed to whichever direction the room layout favours.
