Extron EWB 107 (part number 60-689-02) — the seven-gang black external wall box in Extron's EWB Series, and the widest configuration the series offered. Now a retired part number.

Seven gangs is what a consolidated AV wall becomes when transmitters, control panels, audio, USB and pass-through plates all have to share one location. The EWB 107 supports that on the surface of an interior wall with no recessed back box required. It keeps the 2.5 inch (6.4 cm) depth that runs through the EWB Series, which is what a faceplate needs once connector bodies and slack cable are behind it, and its knockouts let cable enter from a surface raceway channel or from the wall space at the rear.
