Four gangs is where AV wallplates start getting dense: transmitters, control panels, audio and pass-through plates all competing for room behind the plate. The EWB 104 gives that assembly a proper home on the wall surface, 8.2 inches wide and 2.50 inches deep, without any need to open the wall. End knockouts accept surface raceway so cable can be routed cleanly along the wall, and a threaded insert on the rear panel takes the supplied grounding screw.
