Extron EWB 103 (part number 60-454-01) — the gray three-gang external wall box from Extron's original EWB run, now a retired part number.

This is the surface-mount enclosure specified when an Extron three-gang plate has to sit on a wall that has no back box behind it. The steel body screws to the wall face and yields 2.50 inches of internal depth, so a fully populated faceplate still closes cleanly over its connectors and cable slack. Raceway knockouts at the ends accept a surface channel; installers who are pulling from the cavity can use the rear opening instead. A grounding screw and a PEM #6-32 insert are part of the package.
