Extron EWB 103 (part number 60-1163-02) — a three-gang steel wall box in black, for surface-mounting Extron wallplates where no in-wall box exists.

When an AV plate has to land on a wall that cannot be opened up, the EWB 103 provides the enclosure instead. It bolts to the wall face and presents a three-gang opening with 2.50 inches of interior depth — enough for connector bodies, adapters and a sensible service loop behind the faceplate. Knockouts on each end let surface raceway feed cable into the box, and a threaded PEM #6-32 insert on the rear panel takes the included grounding screw.
