Extron EDID 121 (part number 60-2076-01) — an 8K-capable HDMI EDID emulator that keeps a source locked to the display format you choose.

When a source device cannot read dependable EDID from whatever sits downstream, it guesses an output format, and the result is a wrong resolution, a dropped frame rate or silent audio. The EDID 121 sits inline on a single HDMI link and hands stored EDID to the source the moment power comes up, so the negotiated format stays the same every session. It carries video up to 40.1 Gbps, conforms to HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3, and passes embedded audio through without altering it.
