Details

Extron EDID 101V (part number 60-991-01) — a compact EDID emulator that keeps VGA sources and displays talking to each other.

Video sources that boot without a display attached, or that get handed inconsistent EDID data by a switcher or extender, often default to a low-resolution fallback or refuse to output video at all. The EDID 101V solves that by storing a library of resolution presets or capturing the EDID directly from a connected display, then presenting that data to the source on demand. It passes analog RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB, and RsGsBs signals through a 350 MHz, unity-gain path with no image processing, so picture quality is unaffected.
