Extron DVI DA4 Plus (part number 60-931-21) — the current production one input, four output DVI distribution amplifier with EDID Minder, in a 1U half-rack metal enclosure.

The problem this solves is not really bandwidth, it is handshaking. A DVI source that loses its EDID conversation will boot to the wrong timing or refuse to output at all. EDID Minder keeps that conversation alive on the source side independently of what the four displays are doing, so screens can be powered down or swapped without disturbing the source. Alongside that, the amplifier equalizes the incoming run and retimes the signal, cleaning up jitter before the split. Extron rates the equalizer at roughly 100 feet of DVI Pro cable carrying 1920x1200 at 8-bit colour. Each output also delivers +5 VDC at 250 mA to run an in-line device such as a DVI 101 equalizer.
