Extron DVI DA4 Plus (part number 60-931-01) — a one input, four output DVI distribution amplifier with EDID Minder, in a 1U half-rack metal enclosure.

DVI sources are notoriously fussy about what is plugged in at boot. EDID Minder solves that by holding a continuous EDID conversation with the source regardless of what the displays are doing, so the source comes up at the right resolution and stays there. On the signal side the amplifier equalizes the incoming DVI run, then retimes and reshapes it before splitting: marginal or noisy input arrives at the four outputs as a clean, low-jitter signal. Extron rates the input equalizer for about 100 feet at 1920x1200 with 8-bit color when Extron DVI Pro cable is used. Each output also carries +5 VDC at 250 mA, enough to power a DVI 101 cable equalizer or similar in-line device.
