Details
Extron DTP2 T 212 (part number 60-1587-52) — a two-input HDMI switcher with a built-in DTP2 transmitter and a local HDMI output, so one source can feed a near display and a far one at the same time.
Two HDMI sources connect at the rear. Whichever is selected leaves twice: once on a local HDMI connector for a confidence monitor or a nearby screen, and once on an RJ-45 as an 18 Gbps DTP2 signal bound for a receiver up to 100 metres away. Selection can be manual over RS-232, driven by contact closures, or automatic when two pins on the captive screw connector are shorted together. Tally outputs on the same connectors light an indicator for whichever input is live.
