Extron DTP T HWP 232 D (part number 60-1365-63) — a decorator-style wallplate transmitter that puts two HDMI connections at the wall and sends one shielded CATx run back to the rack.
Wall-mounted source plates answer a recurring problem in rooms where the display, the lectern and the equipment rack sit far apart. This unit accepts two HDMI sources, each paired with a 3.5 mm stereo audio input, and delivers them on a single DTP 230 line to a matching receiver or DTP-enabled processor. Input selection happens automatically, by contact closure, or over RS-232 at 9600 baud. The same plate relays RS-232 in both directions and passes modulated IR outward for far-end device control.
