Details
Extron DTP T HWP 232 D (part number 60-1365-12) — a decorator-style wallplate transmitter that takes two HDMI sources, adds analog stereo audio, and sends everything up to 230 ft (70 m) over a single shielded twisted pair run.
Two presenters at one table usually means two wallplates, two cable runs and a switcher somewhere in between. This transmitter handles all of it inside the wall. Two female HDMI type A jacks accept single link HDMI or, with an adapter, DVI-D. Each input has its own 3.5 mm stereo jack for unbalanced analog audio, which the unit embeds onto the DTP signal so the audio arrives with the picture. Selection is driven either by RS-232 commands or by contact closure on the shared 3.5 mm five-pole captive screw connector. That same port also carries bidirectional RS-232 and modulated IR pass-through out to the far-end DTP 230 or DTP 330 endpoint for control of remote sources and displays, and the link can supply or accept remote power within a 12 W budget.

Where It Is Used
Conference rooms, huddle rooms, classrooms, training suites and multipurpose spaces finished with standard decorator wallplates are the natural fit. It works well wherever two laptops need to share one display, the connection point has to look like part of the wall, and the switching electronics belong out of sight in a remote rack.
