Details
Extron DTP T HD2 4K 330 (part number 60-1491-52) — a quarter-rack HDMI transmitter that keeps its full 330 ft (100 m) reach at every supported resolution, from 1080p/60 right through 4K and UHD.
The defining trait of this model is that distance does not fall away as resolution climbs. Extron rates 1080p/60, 2560x1600/60 and 4K/UHD at 30 and 60 Hz all at the same 330 ft (100 m) on shielded twisted pair or XTP DTP 24 cable, so a designer sizing a run for high-resolution content does not have to re-plan the cable path. One single link HDMI source feeds an HDMI loop-thru output for a local monitor and a DTP 330 output at the same time. RS-232 and IR enter on a shared 3.5 mm five-pole captive screw connector and pass down the same link to the receiver for far-end device control.
Key Capabilities
- Flat 330 ft (100 m) rating across 1080p/60, 2560x1600/60 and 4K/UHD at 30 and 60 Hz
- Signal handling for HDMI 1.4 with HDCP 1.4 at up to 10.2 Gbps and a 300 MHz pixel clock
- Color depth of 8, 10 or 12 bits, subject to the data rate ceiling
- HDMI loop-thru plus DTP 330 output driven simultaneously from one input
- RS-232 from 300 to 115200 baud and 30 kHz to 60 kHz IR pass-through on one port
- Low 5.9 W draw in a 1.0 in H x 4.3 in W x 6.0 in D metal quarter-rack chassis
Where It Is Used
Choose this model for auditoriums, large lecture halls, divisible ballrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, command centers and campus buildings where the cable path is long and the content is high resolution — anywhere the shorter-reach transmitter would run out of distance before it reached the display.
