Extron DTP T EU 232 (part number 60-1569-12) — a two-input transmitter on a 2-gang EU faceplate that sends video, audio and control down one twisted pair link.
This is the connection point a presenter actually touches. One female HDMI type A port takes a digital source, one female 15-pin HD port takes analog RGBHV, and a pair of 3.5 mm stereo jacks accept unbalanced analog audio alongside them. Everything is combined into a DTP 230 output on a female RJ-45 and travels up to 230' (70 m) on shielded twisted pair. Embedded digital audio rides the digital path and is understood in formats from 2-channel PCM through Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS-ES Discrete 6.1.
