Details
Extron DTP T DP 4K 330 (part number 60-1076-52) — the long-reach DisplayPort sending unit in the DTP 330 twisted pair family.
Where the 230-class unit tapers off at higher resolutions, this transmitter holds a full 330 ft (100 m) at every rated resolution, including 4K and UHD at 30 Hz. One shielded twisted pair run terminated to TIA/EIA T568B carries the DisplayPort picture, its embedded digital audio, an additional analog stereo feed, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR control. Order the matching DTP R DP 4K 330 receiver separately to complete the link.
Key Capabilities
- Holds 330 ft (100 m) at 1080p 60 Hz, at 2560x1600 60 Hz and at 4K/UHD 30 Hz alike — no resolution-dependent derating.
- One female DisplayPort input running DisplayPort 1.1a with HDCP 1.4 and 2.3, Single Stream Transport only.
- Throughput up to 10.8 Gbps, 2.7 Gbps per lane, with a 300 MHz transmitter pixel clock.
- Analog stereo audio arrives on a 3.5 mm jack at -10 dBV nominal, greater than 10k ohms DC coupled, +7 dBV maximum unbalanced.
- RS-232 from 300 to 115200 baud and TTL-level IR from 30 kHz to 60 kHz share a 5-pole captive screw port.
- 3.4 watt device draw, 4.8 watts with the supply, and a 12 watt remote power budget for one-ended powering.
Where It Is Used
Built for the runs a 230-class extender cannot finish: divisible ballrooms, large lecture theatres, auditorium projection booths, hospital and imaging corridors, and command centers where the DisplayPort source stays locked in a distant rack. Vent-free convection cooling suits sealed lecterns and credenzas.
