Details
Extron DTP HDMI 4K 330 Tx (part number 60-1331-12) — the source-side transmitter of Extron's DTP HDMI 330 4K pair, rated to a hundred metres at every format it carries.
Feed it from a laptop, camera, player or codec through its single female HDMI type A input; DVI-D sources work with an appropriate cable or adapter. Video, a PC-level analog stereo feed on a 3.5 mm jack, RS-232 and infrared all leave together on one female RJ-45, terminated to TIA/EIA T568B. The headline difference against the shorter 230 model is that 4K, UHD and 2560x1600 do not cost you any reach: Extron rates all of them, and 1080p at 60 Hz, to the same 330 feet. Its matching DTP HDMI 4K 330 Rx receiver is sold on its own.
Key Capabilities
- Drives 330 feet (100 m) at 1080p/60, 2560x1600/60, and 4K or UHD at 30 Hz and 60 Hz
- Passes 4096x2160 and 3840x2160 sources, reaching 60 Hz through 4:2:0 chroma subsampling
- 10.2 Gbps maximum data rate with a 300 MHz maximum pixel clock and HDCP 2.3
- Analog stereo input sits at -10 dBV nominal with a +6 dBV unbalanced maximum
- RS-232 runs to 115200 baud on a 5-pole captive screw shared with 30 kHz to 60 kHz IR
- Only 2.5 watts at the device, or remote powered from the receiver inside 12 watts
Where It Is Used
Long-run installations are the point here: stadium and worship-venue lecterns, university auditoriums, multi-storey office buildings where the rack and the display sit on different floors, and clinical or command spaces where the workstation must stay far from the viewing wall.
