Details
Extron DTP HD DA8 4K 330 (part number 60-1438-51) — the eight-output, long-reach member of the DTP HD DA family, holding every supported format out to a full 100 metres.
This is the configuration to specify when eight remote screens sit a long way from the rack. One HDMI feed (or DVI-D through a suitable adapter) enters the unit and leaves on eight shielded twisted-pair links terminated to the TIA/EIA T568B standard. Unlike the shorter-reach 230 variant, nothing is traded away at higher resolutions here: 1080p, 2560x1600 and 4K/UHD all hold the same distance. In DTP mode each link also carries analog stereo, RS-232, IR, and remote power to the receiver, while a local HDMI output and local analog stereo jack stay available in the rack.
Key Capabilities
- One female HDMI type A input feeding eight DTP 330 outputs.
- Eight female RJ-45 connectors plus a single-link HDMI local output.
- 1080p @ 60 Hz, 2560x1600 @ 60 Hz and 4K/UHD @ 30 and 60 Hz all reach 330' (100 m).
- Supports a 10.2 Gbps data rate at a 300 MHz maximum pixel clock, HDCP 1.4 compliant.
- Managed from front-panel Mini USB-B, RS-232 captive screw, or 10/100Base-T Ethernet.
- Eight 5-pole captive screw ports relay RS-232 and IR out to the DTP endpoints.
Where It Is Used
Stadiums and arenas, airports and transport terminals, large university campuses, convention centers, corporate lobbies with distributed video walls, control rooms, and hospital departments. The 100 m reach on all eight legs removes the need for mid-span repeaters in buildings where cable routes are long.
