Extron DTP HD DA8 4K 230 (part number 60-1438-01) — a 1U rack distribution amplifier that splits a single HDMI source across eight DTP twisted-pair links.
When one source has to feed eight remote displays, running eight long HDMI cables is neither practical nor reliable. This eight-output amplifier takes one HDMI feed (or DVI-D via an appropriate adapter) and rebroadcasts it over eight shielded twisted-pair links terminated to the TIA/EIA T568B standard. Operating in DTP mode, each link delivers video with embedded audio plus analog stereo, RS-232, IR, and remote power for the far-end receiver. A local HDMI output and a local analog stereo jack stay live in the rack for monitoring or a house audio feed.
