Details
Extron DTP HD DA4 4K 230 (part number 60-1437-01) — a 1U rack-mount distribution amplifier that fans a single HDMI source out to four DTP twisted-pair links.
Long HDMI runs give up well before they reach the far corner of a large room. This unit answers that by accepting one HDMI feed (or DVI-D through an appropriate adapter) and rebroadcasting it across four shielded twisted-pair links terminated to the TIA/EIA T568B standard. In DTP mode each link carries the picture with its embedded audio and adds analog stereo, RS-232, IR, and remote power for the receiver at the other end. Back at the rack, a local HDMI output and a local analog stereo jack remain live for a confidence monitor or a house sound feed.
