Seventy-five feet of uncompressed DisplayPort is fibre territory, and that is what is inside this jacket: multimode optical fibres for the four high-speed lanes, 24 AWG tinned copper for the auxiliary and hot-plug lines. Nothing is compressed, nothing is scaled — the link simply carries DisplayPort 1.4 at up to 32.4 Gbps with HDCP 2.3, HDR, EDID, CEC and 32 audio channels. The active connectors are unidirectional, drawing 375 mW at 3.3 V from the equipment rather than from a wall wart, and the CMP jacket lets the run pass through return-air space without conduit.
