Passive copper DisplayPort gives out long before 25 feet at 8K data rates. The DP Pro Plenum answer is a hybrid build: multimode optical fibers carry the high-speed lanes while 24 AWG tinned copper handles the low-speed and auxiliary channels, all inside a 0.18 in PVC jacket that bends to a 0.79 in radius. That combination moves up to 32.4 Gbps — 8.1 Gbps per lane — with DisplayPort 1.4, HDCP 2.3 and HDR intact, and it is CMP rated so the run can cross an air-handling ceiling without conduit. The cable is unidirectional and needs no power supply; it draws 375 mW at 3.3 V from the devices it connects.
