This is the largest frame in the DMS DVI matrix family, built for installations that need far more inputs and outputs than a compact frame can hold. Populate it with any mix of DMS DVI or fiber I/O boards to grow from 4x4 up to 36x36 in steps of four, at up to 4.95 Gbps per single-link DVI path with automatic EDID/DDC buffering. Dual internal power supplies come standard, so the frame keeps routing if one supply fails — a meaningful difference from the smaller DMS 1600 frame, where redundancy is optional.
