Details
Extron DMP 64 Plus C V (part number 60-1824-01) — a half-rack 6x4 ProDSP digital matrix processor with six AEC channels and a built-in VoIP interface.
Putting a SIP endpoint inside the DSP removes a box from the rack and a failure point from the signal chain. This model supports up to eight concurrent extensions over a single RJ-45 connection, using generic SIP 2.0 per RFC 3261, so it registers against most enterprise phone systems without proprietary licensing. Six channels of Extron AEC keep the far end from hearing its own audio, and all six main DSP channels are FlexInputs, free to draw from local microphones or the expansion bus.
Key Capabilities
- Up to eight concurrent, independent VoIP extensions using SIP per RFC 3261 and related RFCs.
- Wideband and other ITU codecs supported; optional LLDP-MED discovery on the VoIP port.
- Six independent AEC channels, tail length above 200 msec, convergence up to 60 dB per second.
- Six mono (or three stereo) mic/line inputs, all six with switchable +48 VDC phantom power.
- Four mono (or two stereo) balanced/unbalanced line outputs.
- Configurable USB audio interface (0x8, 2x6, 4x4, 6x2 or 8x0) plus an EXP port to a DTP CrossPoint or another DMP.
Where It Is Used
Small conference rooms and collaboration spaces that still take dial-in callers, executive offices, telehealth consultation rooms, and training rooms bridging phone and video calls. The half-rack metal chassis mounts on an optional 1U shelf or under a table and runs from a 12 VDC external supply.
