Extron DMP 128 Plus C (part number 60-1512-01) — a 12x8 ProDSP digital audio matrix processor with twelve independent channels of acoustic echo cancellation.
The C in this model number stands for echo cancellation, and it is the reason integrators specify it for conferencing rooms. Each of the twelve AEC processors takes its own reference signal, chosen from any input, output or virtual return bus, so a room running several codecs or a mix of local and far-end sources stays intelligible. Extron's algorithms converge quickly during double talk and with wireless microphones, and selectable noise cancellation cleans up HVAC rumble before it reaches the far end.
