Details
Extron DMP 128 Plus AT (part number 60-1511-10) — a 12x8 ProDSP digital audio matrix processor with on-board Dante networking.
The AT version of the DMP 128 Plus adds a four-port gigabit Dante interface to the same twelve-input, eight-output analog core. That lets a room keep its local microphones and loudspeakers while pulling another 48 channels in and pushing 24 channels out across the building network. Dante and AES-67 are selectable in software, and the processor works with Dante Domain Manager, so audio can cross subnets in campus-scale and multi-building systems instead of stopping at the rack.
Key Capabilities
- Four RJ-45 ports on a 1 Gbps switch feed the Dante interface: 48 channels received, 24 channels transmitted.
- Latency is deterministic and user-selected at 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 (default), 2.0 or 5.0 ms.
- Twelve mono mic/line inputs, balanced or unbalanced, with +48 VDC phantom power switchable on inputs 1-8.
- Eight mono (or four stereo) balanced/unbalanced line outputs, plus a 4x4 USB digital audio interface.
- EXP port adds a further 16 channels in and 16 channels out over shielded CAT6.
- RS-232, Ethernet, front-panel USB, eight digital I/O ports and support for up to eight ACP control panels.
Where It Is Used
Networked audio makes this model a fit for multi-room corporate campuses, university lecture blocks, houses of worship, stadium and arena systems, and command centers where the DSP, the amplifiers and the sources sit in different rooms. The 1U full-rack metal enclosure and internal universal supply install in any standard equipment rack.
