Details
Extron DMP 128 FlexPlus C AT (part number 60-1820-10) — a half-rack ProDSP digital matrix processor with acoustic echo cancellation and Dante audio networking.
The FlexPlus concept is simple: twelve FlexInput channels get full DSP treatment including AEC, but only four of them need to be local analog microphone or line sources. The rest arrive over the Dante network, which means a designer can put four mics on the box in the room and pull the remaining eight channels from wherever they live. All of that fits in a half-rack, 1U metal enclosure weighing 2.4 lbs, so it drops into a lectern, a credenza or a shared rack shelf.
Key Capabilities
- Twelve FlexInput channels with full DSP processing including echo cancellation.
- Dante/AES-67 transport on a 2-port 1 Gbps switch: 48 channels Rx and 24 channels Tx, uncompressed 24-bit/48 kHz.
- Four mono (or two stereo) analog mic/line inputs, all four with switchable +48 VDC phantom power.
- Eight mono (or four stereo) balanced/unbalanced line outputs on four 6-pole captive screw connectors.
- AEC tail length above 200 msec, convergence up to 60 dB per second, plus up to 20 dB of selectable noise cancellation.
- EXP port, rear USB audio, RS-232, Ethernet, two digital I/O ports and up to eight ACP control panels.
Where It Is Used
Huddle rooms, small and mid-size meeting rooms, classrooms, telemedicine consultation rooms and satellite spaces on a campus Dante backbone are the natural home for this model. Its half-rack footprint and external 12 VDC supply also make it a good fit for furniture and lectern installations where a full-width chassis will not fit.
