Details
Extron DDX 102 Rx (part number 60-1328-13) — the receiver half of the DDX 102 fiber optic link, turning two multimode strands back into a dual link DVI-D feed at the display.
Mounted at the far end of the run, the DDX 102 Rx recovers the optical signal launched by a DDX 102 Tx and presents it on a male DVI-D connector that plugs straight into a monitor, projector or wall processor input. No mounting hardware is required, and the unit detaches from the fiber so cable can be pulled through conduit first. This listing is the receiver only; a DDX 102 Tx transmitter, part number 60-1328-12, is required at the source end.
Key Capabilities
- Outputs one single link or dual link DVI signal on a male DVI-D connector.
- Terminates two multimode strands, 50/125 or 62.5/125 micron, on two female LC connectors.
- Supports runs of 500 m (1640 ft) on 50 micron OM2, OM3 or OM4 fiber, or 300 m (985 ft) on 62.5 micron OM1.
- Delivers 2560x1600 at 60 Hz over dual link and 1920x1200 or 1080p over single link.
- 10 Gbps of throughput at a 330 MHz pixel clock, held at unity gain.
- Draws only 1.7 watts at 5 VDC from the supplied external 15 watt adapter.
Where It Is Used
Display walls and operator consoles in control rooms, radiology and operating room monitors, broadcast master control, air traffic and utility dispatch positions, digital cinema screening rooms, and campus or stadium installations where the display is far from its DVI source.
