Extron DA4 12G HD-SDI (part number 60-1674-02) — the current production four output multi-rate SDI distribution amplifier, quarter-rack width, spanning SD-SDI through 12G-SDI.

The point of a modern SDI distribution amplifier is that nobody should have to tell it what is coming in. This one adapts on its own to the applicable SMPTE and ITU standard for any rate between 270 Mbps and 11.88 Gbps, equalizes the input to recover as much as -30 dB of cable loss, and reclocks each of the four outputs to strip high-frequency jitter before the signal moves on. Reclocking can be set per output or bypassed entirely where a downstream device prefers the raw stream. HDR, up to 16 embedded audio channels, closed caption and time code all survive the trip.
